Fort Bend Austin grad plays in Texas Southern University loss
Fort Bend Austin High School graduate Morgan Simmons contributed in Texas Southern University's 61-52 loss to University of Texas-El Paso on Nov. 22 in college basketball action.
According to Texas Southern University's website, Simmons, a sophomore forward at Texas Southern University, recorded 4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block for the Tigers. The team is now 1-3 on the season.
Texas Southern University's next game is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 against University of Arizona.
Simmons is a 2011 graduate of Austin High School. She is a La Marque native.
