Bush grad Ridley helps in Texas win
Bush High School graduate Cameron Ridley scored eight points as the University of Texas beat Mississippi State 69-55 Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Lahaina Civic Center in Maui, according to the UT website.
Ridley also recorded 12 rebounds, three steals and five blocks for the Longhorns, who improved to 3-2 on the season.
The next Texas game is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at home against Sam Houston State.
Ridley is a freshman center for Texas. He is a 2012 graduate of Bush High School, where he scored an average of 12 points, with nine rebounds and two blocks per game. The Richmond native is the son of Samuel Ridley and Sharon Rinehart.
