Travis grad Watson plays in Grambling loss
Travis High School graduate Alexis Watson played for Grambling State University in a 64-52 loss to California State University, Fresno, Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, reported Grambling's website.
The Grambling State player recorded a rebound for the Lady Tigers, who are 0-4 on the season.
Grambling's next game is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 on the road against Wichita State.
Watson, a 5-foot-6 senior guard for Grambling, is a 2009 graduate of Travis High School. The Katy native is the daughter of Alonzo Watson and is a business management major.
