Lynette Amaram

Lynette Amaram, a freshman at Stafford High School, is a busy young woman. An honor student and athlete, Lynette is passionate about “balancing sports with my academics, and I’m getting good results out of both.” She competes in a variety of University Interscholastic League academic and extracurricular activities and hopes to attend one of the top-ranked schools in the nation and one day become a doctor.

FAVORITE MOVIE: “Love and Basketball.” “Basketball is one of my favorite sports and the movie is about how love can sometimes interfere with the craziness of sports.”
FAVORITE BOOK SERIES: “The Series of Unfortunate Events.” “Every time I read one of the books it gets me wanting to read the next book as quickly as possible.”
AMBITION: “I want to probably do sports first and then continue my goal of becoming a doctor. This way I’ll find a good job to support my family and I’ll also be doing something that I love: saving lives.”
