Keep Sugar Land Beautiful hosts Trees Across Sugar Land
Volunteers participate in the event Trees Across Sugar Land hosted by Keep Sugar Land Beautiful at Sugar Land Memorial Park.
Keep Sugar Land Beautiful hosted a Trees Across Sugar Land event Saturday, Nov. 10 in Sugar Land Memorial Park.
According to event organizers, a total of 220 KSLB volunteers planted and mulched 400 five-gallon native hardwood trees.
The city of Sugar Land, Apache Corp., Houston Landscapes Unlimited and Whole Foods Market all contributed to the event.
Trees were donated by the Apache Foundation Tree Grand Program while Houston Landscapes Unlimited dug 400 holes for the planting. Volunteers were provided water and snacks that were donated by Whole Foods Market.
