Austin grad Manuel contributes to Southern Methodist University victory over Malone
Ryan Manuel, an Austin High School graduate, is a sophomore guard for the Southern Methodist University men's basketball team.
Austin High School graduate Ryan Manuel contributed 13 points in Southern Methodist University's 81-47 home win against Malone University on Nov. 19 at Moody Coliseum in Dallas.
The Southern Methodist University sophomore guard also recorded five rebounds, four assists and a steal for the Mustangs, who improved to 4-0 on the season, according to Southern Methodist University's website.
Southern Methodist University's next game is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 at home against Rider University.
Manuel is a 2011 graduate of Austin High School in Sugar Land. He is from Houston and is the son of Marc and Sharron Manuel.
