City of Sugar Land launches new website
The city of Sugar Land's Economic Development Office has launched its new website, it was recently announced.
According to a press release, the new website — www.sugarlandecodev.com — allows the city to remain competitive when competing for new jobs and capital investment. It now includes a comprehensive set of easily accessible economic development information such as demographics, available properties, research reports, site selection data, incentives, partner agencies and quality of life amenities. It also highlights the city's major corporate businesses and top employers.
"Developing a world-class economic development website is a challenging project," said Regina Morales, the director of economic development, in a press release. "This site reflects the thinking and efforts of the city's economic development team, as well as our commitment to being open and accessible to the businesses, citizens, developers, site selectors and other business prospects that we work with daily.
"This site will significantly increase our ability to provide detailed and accurate information that is critical to decision makers."
