Rosenberg Rotary donates dictionaries to local school districts

Rosenberg Rotary Club members deliver dictionaries to the third-grade students of Williams Elementary.

The Rotary Club of Rosenberg recently donated dictionaries to every third-grade student in the Lamar Consolidated and Needville school districts.

Three members of the club made the delivery trip to Williams Elementary, including Jack Hamlet, Rosenberg city manager; Joyce Vasut, chief financial officer for the city of Rosenberg; and Laura Lyons, CISD executive director of elementary education.

The Rosenberg Rotary is made up of business professionals from several area organizations who volunteer their efforts through club programming and community projects.

The club meetings are held at noon every Wednesday at the Grand China Buffet, 4310 Ave. H, Suite 30, Rosenberg.
