Mountain climber, 13, hopes to become a vet
When asked what he is passionate about, eighth-grader Nathaniel McCoy replied, “I am passionate about my schoolwork, my family and animals.” His love for animals is evident in his future career: Nathaniel hopes to be a veterinarian when he grows up. The 13-year-old already has been inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and won a reading award for highest GPA. He also finds time to pursue athletic activities through track.

AMBITION: “I want to be a veterinarian and go to (Texas) A&M; I also want to start my own company.”
