Chautauqua Lecture Series scheduled for Nov. 13
The Chautauqua Lecture Series, sponsored by Sugar Land Heritage Foundation, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Sugar Land Auditorium.
The event will run from 7-8:30 p.m.
According to the organization, "Local Sugar Lander, Leon Anhaiser, will start the series, answering questions such as how the sugar cane plant was discovered and became domesticated for the use of the locals."
Tickets are not required and the event is free.
Sugar Land Auditorium is at 226 Lakeview Drive, Sugar Land.
