Artsy teens palette of life a mix of media
Eighth-grader Elizabeth Ruiz has three main goals: She hopes to finish high school as one of the top 10 students, obtain many scholarships, then major in art — and maybe music — in college. She says she is very passionate about both subjects. “Art and music make me peaceful and are a way to express myself,” she said. “I love painting and drawing while listening to music. I am also passionate about God. He is my everything.”
