Fort Bend County Sheriff launches online service for unincorporated residents
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office website now allows residents in unincorporated areas of the county to use the online offense report service.
The service is designed for non-emergency reports that occurred in the unincorporated areas of Fort Bend County that have no known suspects. These incidents include burglary, credit or debit card abuse, identity theft, lost property and others. The reports can be filed at any location with Internet access at the sheriff's office website.
According to the sheriff's office, the form should not be used for emergencies, injuries or crimes in process that require immediate assistance.
All incidents filed online are reviewed by investigators at the sheriff's office.
