Oyster Creek Elementary take part in National Walk to School Day
Oyster Creek Elementary School families and students participated in the National Walk to School Day on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Nurse Nancy Cartie coordinated the event, which encourages residents to establish a healthy lifestyle with the help of United Healthcare and HEB.
Upon their arrival, the walkers were welcomed by school officials, who rewarded them with water and fresh fruit.
Oyster Creek Elementary School is at 16425 Mellow Oaks Lane, Sugar Land.
