Fluor Corp. recently announced the four beneficiaries of its 2013 Golf for Greater Houston charity golf tournament, scheduled for March 25.
The four beneficiaries of the 2013 tournament are Blessed Be Hope for Three, Second Mile Mission Center, Kids Meals and Fisher House.
Since the first tournament was held in 2008, the event has raised more than $540,000 for local charities in Fort Bend and Harris Counties.
"Because of the efforts of the employees in Fluors Houston office and the generosity of our executive management team and our industry partner sponsors, we are able to make this event a success," chairperson of the 2013 Golf for Greater Houston Kishia Haberle said in a press release. "The golf tournament is in its sixth year, and each year we have been able to make a more significant impact on our community."
Fluor looks for nonprofits that thrive with supporting its four key focus areas of education in science, technology, engineering and math, social services, community and economic development and the environment.
