University of St. Thomas' Mundey to discuss new book
Dr. Lisa Mundey, assistant professor of history at the University of St. Thomas, will discuss her new book Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Army War College in Carlisle Barracks, Pa.
According to a press release, Dr. Mundey’s book, titled "American Militarism and Anti-militarism in Popular Media, 1945-1970," explores military images in television, film and comic books from 1945-1970.
“It’s a great honor to be invited to speak at AHEC,” Mundey said in a release. “Members of the faculty, staff and community, a lot of whom are military retirees, are going to be there as well."
