Bike the Bend for Literacy fundraiser set for Nov. 18
The Fort Bend County Literacy Council and Texas Direct Auto's annual Bike the Bend for Literacy will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Foster High School in Richmond.
The fundraising event's proceeds will go to the literacy council and will include 20-, 32- and 62-mile courses where riders will have a breathtaking view and access to three rest stops with mechanical assistance and refreshments. Healthy fruits and snacks will be provided before the ride by Whole Food Market Sugar Land while post-ride food will be provided by My Fit Foods, according to a press release.
Rider registration is $30 until Friday, Nov. 9 and $40 after.
Foster High School is at 4400 FM 723, Richmond.
