Golf Classic scheduled for Nov. 1

The annual Golf Classic, sponsored by University of Texas-Pan American, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at Greatwood Golf Club in Sugar Land.

According to the organization, the event will raise scholarship money for disadvantaged students who would like to attend the University of Texas Pan American. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

Greatwood Golf Club is at 6767 Greatwood Parkway.
