Bank robbery reported in the 9200 block of State Highway 6
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent incident involving bank robbery that occurred in the Houston area.
The incident was reported in the 9200 block of State Highway 6 at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.
According to a news release, the suspect entered the bank brandishing a semi-automatic handgun and ordered customers and staff members to get on the floor and demanded cash from a cashier. The suspect stuffed the cash into his pockets and left the store on foot.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic or black male, about 5-foot-10 in height and weighing about 180 pounds, a wearing a red Houston Rockets hat with a white rag or towel wrapped around most of his face and an a long-sleeve blue shirt with black pants.
