Texas Association of School Boards elects Jim Rice to board of directors
Jim Rice, current president of the Fort Bend Independent School District, has been elected to the board of directors for the Texas Association of School Boards.
According to a press release, Rice was elected to a two-year term and will represent the association's Region 4G.
Rice is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and serves on its Sam Houston Area Council board of directors. He also serves on the board of directors for the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County and the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce.
