Kids for Kindness  participate in  food drive

The Kids for Kindness Club of Campbell Elementary School in Sugar Land recently held a food drive for Helping Hands of Houston.
The food drive among students and staff members was part of the youth organization’s monthly service projects that focus on various human virtues, according to a school press release.
Kids for Kindness Club was designed by Principal Michelle Koerth. The club started the year with a focus on respect for others and held an International Day of Peace Sept. 21. In that effort, Art Teacher Deborah Holzhuter had all Campbell students create a pinwheel of peace.

Each student placed their pinwheel on the school’s front circle drive to promote the event. Campbell Elementary School is at 1000 Shadow Bend Drive in Sugar Land. All the collected food items went to the Helping Hands Charity at 3007 Isabella St. in Houston.
