Missouri City needs help naming City Hall's welcome cow
Missouri City is calling on all citizens to join in naming City Hall's new resident cow.
"A new classy cow has mooo-ved into town and needs a new name," according to a press release from the city. Citizens are asked to "put your thinking caps on and email suggestions to swalker@missouricitytx.gov by Friday, Oct. 26, at 5 p.m."
The cow was donated to the city earlier this year and is in the City Hall lobby.
The contest winner will be featured in a future newsletter and will receive a limited edition 50th anniversary "Show Me City" quilt, and a Missouri City, Texas, history book, according to the release.
Citizens also may join the Twitter conversation #ClassyCow.
