Sugar Land Police Department Beat 2 blotter, Aug. 28

The Sugar Land Police Department responded to the following incidents on Aug. 28:   11:27 a.m.: An arrest was made on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 300 block of North SH 6.   1:23 p.m.: Items were taken after the burglary of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Lake Pointe Highway.   4:29 p.m.: A residence in the 2200 block of Lone Star Drive was broken into while the owner was not at home.   5:15 p.m.: A subject was arrested on charges of shoplifting in the 500 block of SH 6 and South Frontage Road.   9:18 p.m.: A subject was arrested after drugs were found during a traffic stop at North U.S. 59 and Sugar Creek Boulevard.
