Homes, vehicles burglarized in RiverPark West
The Fort Bend Sheriff's Office continues to search for at least three suspects in connection with a rash of burglaries in the RiverPark West subdivision.
Officers say between midnight and 4:57 a.m. Aug. 19, they received complaints of two home burglaries, one garage burglary and several car burglaries in the areas of Masonwood Lane, Wildwood Park Road, Granite Field Lane, Oleaster Springs Lane and Dover Mist Court.
The burglars took credit cards, which they used at the Stafford-area Wal-Mart, located at West Airport and Southwest Freeway. They also stole residents' guns, according to a Fort Bend Sheriff's Office news release.
Officers reported the suspects were driving a blue Lincoln Town car. There were no injuries during the break-ins, according to the release.
The suspected burglars were caught on closed-circuit video, and police have distributed a number of photos to the media to help in the search.
Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the suspects responsible for these burglaries.
