Students participate in enrichment activities
Students in the summer school program at Drabek Elementary School had the chance to continue learning during summer break.
According to a press release, the students took part in numerous enrichment activities through the bilingual and English as a Second Language programs offered during the summer.
Students welcomed firefighters from the North East Fort Bend County Volunteer Fire Department for a fire safety presentation in which they had the opportunity to explore safety equipment, ask questions and tour a fire truck, according to the press release.
The students also participated in a literacy and book parade, recited self-written poems before an audience and participated in an Fourth of July parade.
Drabek Elementary School is located at 11325 Lake Woodbridge Drive in Sugar Land.
