Massage Heights and Texas School of Massage team up to offer scholarship program
A new scholarship program is being offered to anyone who wants to study massage therapy but are limited by finances.
Massage Heights locations in Houston and Dallas partnered with the Texas School of Massage in offering the $5,000 scholarships for a field that is in high demand yet is short of staff. Scholarship recipients can complete their training between six months and one year.
J.D. Busch, who developed Massage Heights in Houston and Dallas, said the scholarships also can help the unemployed return to the workforce with a new career.
"Once they receive their license as a massage therapist, jobs will be waiting for them," Busch said. "It is good for them and great for the industry."
Anyone interesting in applying for the scholarships may email careershouston@massageheights.com or completing an online application at massageheightshouston.com.
More information about the programs offered by Massage Heights also can be found at massageheights.com.
