Fort Bend Women's Center introduces PennyWise volunteer program
Fort Bend Women's Center has introduced the PennyWise volunteer program.
Designed to serve Missouri City and Sugar Land, the program collects donations of furniture, gently used clothing, shoes, electronics and household goods.
Funds raised benefit survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
A new donation center opened at 4737 Highway 6 S., Missouri City.
Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
The new PennyWise director is Joy Dowell.
