Secretaries from Lamar CISD receive certifications from TESA conference
Three Lamar Consolidated Independent School District secretaries have received their Certified Educational Office Professional certifications.
Certifications were handed out during the 2012 Texas Educational Support Staff Association conference in San Antonio. Recipients are all members of the Lamar Consolidated Educational Secretaries Association, which provides educational and secretarial support through communication, skill building and fellowship. They are: Denise Krahenbuhl, curriculum/staff development for the district; Becky Melendez, secretary at Lamar Junior High; and Kendra Ramirez, who works in the district's human resources department.
LCESA won the TESA Conference Spirit Award for the third straight year. The organization was recognized for having the most members attending the conference with the most creative decorations at the TESA banquet.
