Sugar Land Police investigate Woodforest National Bank robbery
Surveillance video captured the robbery of a Sugar Land-area bank on Tuesday, June 26.
Police say the robber entered Woodforest National Bank inside Walmart, located at 345 Highway 6, and passed a demand note to a teller.
After the teller complied, the suspect left the building and drove away in a dark-colored van, according to a Sugar Land Police Department news release.
The suspect is described as black male with a medium build. He is between the ages of 30 and 40 and stands about 5-foot-9. His braided hair fell just below his shoulders. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeve light blue button-down shirt, a white hard hat, clear goggles and brown gloves.
