Credit union CEO selling Sugar Land home

Gary D. Tuma and Patti Tuma have listed for sale a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 907 Genova St. in Sugar Land for $679,000.

The Tumas acquired the property in September 2009. The 4,418-square-foot home was built in 1995 in the Venetian Estates subdivision. Susan Friedman of Fort Bend Real Estate Corp. is the listing agent.

Gary Tuma is the president and CEO of Smart Financial Credit Union, a cooperative, owned and operated by its members. He also serves as first vice president of Credit Union Service Organization, a subsidiary of Smart Financial Credit Union.

He is a graduate of Southwest CUNA Management School and is a certified credit union executive.

Patti Tuma was president and owner of Benefits Unlimited Inc., a Sugar Land-based company that provided services for managing employee benefits programs.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,678 home sales in Sugar Land during the past 12 months.
