Louis is the director of information security at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He previously held the same position at UAB Health System. Prior to that, he served as an information security consultant at IBM Internet Security Systems. Earlier in his career, he was a software development product engineer and applications engineer at Siemens Energy and Automation Inc.

He holds a B.S. in mechanical and materials science engineering from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. in finance and information systems from the University of Texas.
