Teacher buys 2BD home in Sugar Land
Bernadette Sloat acquired a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 3831 Stovepipe Lane in Sugar Land from Gabriel Mayes and Deborah Mayes on March 20.
The 1,160-square-foot house, built in 1982, is in First Colony. It is part of the Chimneystone subdivision.
Sloat is an expert on children. She is a teacher in the Mathematics Department of Westside High School.
She has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in education.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,859 home sales in Sugar Land during the past 12 months.
