Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office arrests man in connection with aggravated sexual assault of a chil
Rodney Marcus Grimsley, 42, was arrested by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office on May 24 and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office reports that a Richmond man has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
According to the report, detectives met with a 13-year-old girl and her mother on May 23. The girl reported that she was at Zion Watchtower Baptist Church, located at 606 FM 359 in the Richmond area, when she met with the suspect in a room at the church between services on May 20.
The report says the girl wanted to inquire about guitar lessons from the suspect. The sexual assault took place at the church.
Rodney Marcus Grimsley, 42, was arrested early in the morning on May 24.
Grimsley is in the Fort Bend County Jail on a $175,000 bond. He also faces three misdemeanor charges from the Fresno Police Department for invalid driver's license, no proof of insurance and failure to appear.
