Mattress Mack to speak at Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance luncheon

Local entrepreneur and public speaker Jim McIngvale will speak during the Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance's business luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 8.

Noted local entrepreneur and public speaker Jim McIngvale will speak during the Fort Bend Chamber Alliance's business luncheon.

McIngvale, known as Mattress Mack, built the Houston-based Gallery Furniture empire on a foundation of innovative concepts and marketing savvy. He will share his insights and business strategies with chamber members during the next luncheon. The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, June 8 at Safari Texas Ranch, 11627 FM 1464, Richmond.

Gallery Furniture, established in 1981, has been consistently ranked in Furniture Today's Top 100 Furniture Retailers and ranks as the sales-per-square-foot leader for independent retailers in the United States. The store has $200 million in sales per year.

Reservations for the luncheon are $30 for chamber members and $40 for nonmembers and guests. A late fee of $10 will be added to any reservation made after Monday, June 4. For reservations or more information, call the chamber at 281-342-5464.
