TeDan Surgical Innovations revolutionizes hip replacement procedure

TeDan Surgical Innovations, 12615 W. Airport Suite Blvd., Suite 200, Sugar Land, has announced the launch of the Phantom Series MIS Anterior Hip Retractor System.

Dr. Lawrence Menendez and Dr. Daniel Allison, both orthopedic surgeons at the University of Southern California Medical Center, partnered with TeDan Surgical to design and develop the hip retractor. It uses a system of adjustable surgical arms with attachable retractors, which allow surgeons to perform the entire procedure without a fracture table or a surgical assistant.

The Phantom Series MIS Anterior Hip Retractor System has been used in more than 20 surgeries, and evaluations by surgeons thus far have been positive.
