Sartartia Middle School starts skateboarding club
Sartartia Middle School established a new skateboarding club for students this February.
The club was is an initiative from student Matthew Jacobs, eighth-grade math teacher Chris Spisak, and Principal Ginger Carrabine.
The club will help students find places to skate, make new friends and learn tricks and tips from one another.
Participants must pass all their classes and own and use a helmet to attend the club.
The club will meet from 4-5:15 every Thursday.
Sartartia Middle School is located at 8125 Homeward Way in Sugar Land.
