George Memorial Branch Library to hold computer classes on multiple subjects
The George Memorial Branch Library, 1001 Golfview Drive in Richmond, will host several free introductory computer classes in March.
These classes are aimed at beginners to teach the basic skills required to operate a modern computer. All classes begin at 10 a.m.
On March 7, the library will host Mouse Practice for Scaredy Cats.
Computers 101, an introduction to computer basics, takes place on March 8. A special basics class designed specifically for senior citizens will also be held on March 13.
Survival Basics for MS Word 2007 will be held on March 14.
A class on how to set up a free email account will be held on March 19, followed by a hands-on Internet basics class on March 20.
Finally, on March 21, the library will hold a Survival Basics course for MS PowerPoint 2001.
