Texana Reaching for the Stars gala set for April

The 2012 Reaching for the Stars gala will be at 6:30 p.m. April 13 at Safari Texas Ranch.

The 2012 Reaching for the Stars gala to benefit Texana Center's behavioral health care will be at 6:30 p.m. April 13 at Safari Texas Ranch.

Food, music and dancing are scheduled, with entertainment provided by jazz and R&B performers Yvonne Washington and the Mix.

James and Mary Jo Patterson are serving as the honorary chairs for the event, and are joined by a distinguished group of local leaders who make up the honorary committee.

Texana provides behavioral health care and developmental disabilities services to about 4,000 individuals per month, and is the largest provider of home- and community-based services in Texas.
