Food-handing course to be offered by Texas AgriLife Extension
Texas AgriLife Extension Services is offering a new food handler's course accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
The class, titled "Food Safety: It's In Your Hands" will run from 9-11 a.m. March 8 at 1402 Band Road, Rosenberg.
Recommended for all food service employees, the class costs $20.
It covers food safety practices, including personal hygiene, cross contamination and time and temperature abuse.
