Where are the lowest gas prices in Fort Bend?
Gas prices in and around Fort Bend County suburbs of Houston were lower compared to the averages for Texas, Houston, and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website Gasbuddy.com.
Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 106 gas stations in and around Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, and Sugar Land. As of Feb. 17, the average price of regular unleaded gas in the area is $3.433 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.460, Houston average at $3.458, and the nationwide average at $3.500.
The average gas price in the area last week was $3.399 per gallon.
The least expensive gas price in the area is reported to be $3.19 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a Gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Murphy USA, 6414 SH-6 near Glenn Lakes Lane.
A Gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.65, which was being sold at Exxon, 2725 Ave. H and Alamo Street.
