HS girls basketball: Wheatley defeats Lamar Consolidated
Wheatley defeated Lamar Consolidated 68-58 in girls high school basketball action on Friday, in a 4A Area playoff matchup.
With the win, Wheatley improves to 24-8 overall and will continue in the playoffs.
Diamonisha Sophus netted a game-high 37 points in the victory.
With the loss, Lamar Consolidated finishes the season at 21-13 overall.
Ann Nwosah put up 27 points in the loss.
