Fort Bend ISD promotes second annual Darling Dash Memorial run/walk
The Fort Bend School District Student Health Advisory Council joins the Feb. 26 Darling Dash 5K run.
The run benefits the As One Foundation, an organization that promotes sickle cell trait awareness in honor of Devaughn Darling. Darling died from a sickle cell trait and dehydration during a Florida State University football practice in 2001.
The run is scheduled from 8-10 a.m. Feb. 26 at Sweetwater Country Club, 4400 Palm Royale Blvd.
