Rosenberg Police Department presents 2011 crime report
Rosenberg Police Department presented its 2011 crime report at the Feb. 7 City Council meeting.
The Rosenberg Police Department reported a 1 percent decrease in crimes since 2010 and a 47 percent drop from 1996.
The department also reported two homicides, 10 rapes, 15 robberies and 669 assaults, as well as 146 burglaries, 452 thefts and 29 incidents of vehicles being stolen.
The number of reported crimes in 2011 in Rosenberg totaled 1,323. There were 1,338 crimes reported in 2010.
