The Sugar Land Police Department reported the following incidents between the early hours of Feb. 2 and Feb. 3:

DRUGS
Feb. 3, 1:07 a.m.: Police arrested a suspect on a drug charge in the 5920 block of Amherst Court.
 
THEFT
Feb. 2, 4:09 p.m.: Police arrested a suspect on a charge of shoplifting from Academy Sports & Outdoors, located in the 16600 block of Southwest Freeway.

Feb. 2, 6:53 p.m.: Police arrested a suspect on a charge of shoplifting from Macy’s, located in the 16500 block of Southwest Freeway.
