Deadline approaches to sign up for Citizen’s Police Academy

The application deadline for the Rosenberg Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy is Monday, Jan. 30.

Classes will meet from 7-9 p.m. for 14 weeks beginning Feb. 6 at the Rosenberg Police Department. .

Participants will learn about the different aspects of law enforcement through educational sessions with instructors.

Activities include riding with an on-duty patrol officer, watching emergency call dispatchers, experiencing detective work, and learning how crime scene technicians collect evidence.
