Where are the lowest gas prices in Fort Bend?
Gas prices in and around the Fort Bend County suburbs of Houston this week were lower compared to the averages for Texas, Houston, and the country as a whole, according to data from Gasbuddy.com.
Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 100 gas stations in and around Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg and Sugar Land. As of Jan. 26, the average price of regular unleaded gas in the area is $3.236 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.252, Houston average at $3.264 and the nationwide average at $3.359.
The average gas price in the area last week was $3.210 per gallon.
The least expensive gas price in the area is reported to be $2.99 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which Gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available at Murphy USA, 5414 SH-6 South, and Murphy USA, 6414 SH-6 South near Riverstone Boulevard.
Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.39, which was being sold at three gas stations.
