Sugar Land resident accused of client poaching
A direct mail marketing business that serves automobile dealerships is suing after, it says, a former employee used its trade secrets to steal clients.
Hitman Direct filed a lawsuit on Jan. 9 in Harris County District Court against Sugar Land resident R. Greg Mullings, citing breach of employment contract.
Hitman Direct says on Jan. 4, 2012, it learned Mullings, a former employee, violated his employment contract with the company by soliciting one of its clients, a Ford dealership in Port Author.
Mullings's misuse of Hitman Direct’s proprietary secrets caused it irreparable damage, according to the brief.
Hitman Direct is seeking injunctive relief, as well as damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case Houston attorney Lennon C. Wright.
