Missouri City residents sued over electrical project
Missouri City residents are being sued over claims they failed to pay for materials provided and labor performed on a real property construction project.
Daniel Tong, individually and as successor of Daniel Tong and Associates, filed a lawsuit on Jan. 9 in Harris County District Court against Missouri City residents Jesse Padilla and Jay Padilla, as well as JPP Homes and Construction, citing fraud, violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, negligent misrepresentation and breach of contract.
Tong says the defendants hired his company to install a $102,150 electrical system on a real property construction project. According to the brief, the defendants refused to pay for the labor and materials provided, as promised.
Tong is seeking multiple damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Kristopher K. Ahn.
