HS girls basketball: Elkins defeats Marshall
Elkins defeated Marshall in District 23-5A hoops action on Monday.
The Knights won the game 59-33, moving to 12-15 overall and 8-1 in district play.
Donielle Breaux, a senior forward, scored a game-high 25 points in the victory.
Elkins will visit Willowridge on Friday at 7 p.m.
Monday’s loss dropped the Buffalos to 4-16 on the year and 2-7 in district games.
Myana Hearn scored a team-high 14 points in the defeat.
Marshall will host Bush on Friday at 7 p.m.
