Sugar Land police still looking for man in Grants Lake Road home intrusions

Sugar Land police released a composite sketch last week of a man they say invaded two homes on Grants Lake Boulevard through unlocked doors last month.

In the first incident, on Oct. 21, police say a woman woke up at 3 a.m. to see the man watching her. She then "screamed, pushed the man into an adjacent room and called police."

In the second incident, on Oct. 24, a 14-year-old girl reported a similar event around 11:45 p.m. A Sugar Land news release [http://www.sugarlandtx.gov/tools/np/program/view.asp?ID=12240] says the description of the man in these crimes matches that of a man previously seen looking through home windows in the area. Police describe the man as white or Hispanic; 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet, 2 inches tall; 200 to 220 pounds; with short dark hair and light skin and wearing a black T-shirt.

City spokesman Doug Adolph said police have not heard of any additional incidents involving the man since last week, but still ask anyone with information to call them at 281-275-2540 or the Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
