Fort Bend County has quite a number of places to eat out. [1] The best part, of course, is usually the dessert.
I've found that one of my favorite desserts in the entire county is made at a small place in downtown Rosenberg called Another Time Soda Fountain, [2] 800 Third St., right across the street from the Rosenberg Railroad Museum. [3]
The dessert - called a lime cooler - is actually quite simplistic in its ingredients. All it takes is two scoops of lime sherbet and 7-up.
I know, I know. I could probably make it myself at home and save a bit of money in the process. But there's something about the atmosphere at Another Time, as well as the tall glasses the dessert is served in that makes it taste better, especially on a hot day.
